Sorry, I wanted this as a highlight image back on the album index page, thus it has to sit here as a placeholder.
Anyway, these albums are mostly pictures of some of my friends, seeing as how the 2-3 times we've fooled around in the pool, I'm usually the one using the camera, but I show up in a couple, too.
If you've ever done this before, I'd love to see how your pictures came out. If you have some pictures online, drop an e-mail to uwpix at secondinitial dot com. Or, if you don't mind sharing with everyone, click the water picture above and then click the 'add comment' link on the next page to tell us where to find them.

Album: First Time Ever, 2001The first time we used a camera in the pool, we were cracking up so hard, it's amazing we managed to pull off any shots at all. The only poses we came up with basically just consisted of "sink and smile." We got a little more creative the next time. Changed: 06/25/2006

Album: They Took the Big Plunge, 2002Luis and Marisol were married in 2002. Prior to that, we came to them with the idea of taking an underwater portrait and sending it out to their invitees to say, "We're Taking the Plunge!" We finally did the photos, but it was too late to send them out. Instead, they put a couple along with many other older photos on a table at their reception. They actually turned out far better than I expected and, if my perception was right, were a pretty big hit at the reception. I found out later Marisol had been a swimmer while in school, so she appears to be extremely comfortable in the water.
Hey, Marisol, wanna do some more someday? Changed: 04/22/2007

Album: A Spanish Weeki Wachee, 2003I can't take credit for this album's title. After these pictures were developed, we got together to look at them. Matt and Joy, who weren't swimming with us that day, were seeing the pictures, too. Joy thought we were nerds (she was probably right). Matt asked, "What is this, Spanish Weeki Wachee or something!?"
Oh yeah, we're total goofballs. Changed: 02/19/2007
