Yes, there actually is a street corner not far from where I work that sports both my names!

This is the older version of the previous photo. As you can see, the sign has been completely replaced and uses lower case letters now.

After eight years, I think I'm finally getting a little bored with this plate, especially since the magazine that inspired it was merged into Macworld. Any suggestions for new plate ideas?

Playing around with some cartoonization with one of my Puerto Rico vacation pictures. The instructions for the comic art effect came from MacMerc.com.

Using a web/java-based engine (sorry, lost the URL), I created a South Park character that vaguely resembled me. Then I separated elements of it into Photoshop layers and applied various textures, fills, lighting, and shadows.

Somewhat special, this is a scan of "original art" so to speak. I'd seen a very poorly drawn and poorly photocopied version of this cartoon. One day, I asked one of my best friends who is a rather skilled artist to recreate it for me. She did a splendid job. Somewhere, I still have the original sketch sheet.

Though not personally, I know some people that get those little warm fuzzy sensations over sequential or patterned numbers/letters. Note my odometer. (And ignore the fact that, yes, I was driving 50 MPH when I reached for my camera in the passenger seat, turned it on, and snapped the photo). For what it's worth, this was in my 2001 Stratus.

More recently, in my Pontiac Vibe, I hit 1,067 miles and had the presence of mind to snap a shot and send it to my favorite radio station, XL 106.7. Dunno why—although they've posted weirder stuff on their site. Yes, I did manage to pull over before taking the picture this time, and yes, it was late December (I was driving to my parents' house for the holidays) and it really was 66 degrees, which is cold for Florida!!!

A marker somehow managed to end up in my nephew's crib one day. When his mother realized he was awfully quiet (he usually jumps and wiggles himself to sleep for a long time before his nap), she got suspicious, came into his room, and found this!

My nephew loves to empty pantries. The oddest thing is, unlike what you'd expect for a 2-year-old, Riley actually does arrange the stuff like this on his own instead of just throwing it to the floor—which is, of course, the only reason his parents let him do this.

I think this is the only software easter egg I've found totally on my own without reading about it on some web site index.
