Highlights of this year include a trip to Puerto Rico, the infamous 2004 hurricane season, the last of a nearly annual series of trips to Washington State, and my office's purchase of a Nikon D100 which is the camera used in some albums from this point forward.

Two nights after Hurricane Charley struck Orlando, I was at my office with my friend, Jeff, for the A/C and internet connection since neither of us yet had power restored. Jeff noticed the sky outside and I snatched my camera, ran up to the roof of the building, and squeezed off a few shots.

On my way to a high school classmates get-together, I noticed this storm and the odd clouds it was producing. Since my camera was sitting right next to me in the seat, I pulled over and started shooting.

The staff who organize an annual Wet 'n Wild private party always go for dinner after the event. Silliness always ensues due to hunger and exhaustion. Having Zach along this time had plenty to do with it, too.

Rosa did some beautiful decorations in her home for a group dinner, in celebration of Jeff's birthday.

Congrats to Vergy on her graduation at Rollins College. Unfortunately, Rosa and I arrived late, thus didn't get a seat in the main area and had to watch a video screen in the overflow area. The pictures of the service were taken from an upper level at great distance and didn't turn out spectacular. The remaining shots are outside the auditorium and at Olive Garden, following the service.

After years of attempting to pull it off, I and four of my friends—Rosa, Vergy, Melvin, and Jeff—finally managed to arrange a multi-day vacation. Several different destinations have been on our minds, but Puerto Rico was the final candidate for our first excursion together.

This was an effort by Jeff and myself to get in one last trip to Rat Land before our seasonal passes expired. Props to Vergy's mother (a Disney employee) for hooking up her daughter, Rosa, and Melvin with tickets for that day to join me and Jeff. By the way, most of these pictures were from Jeff's camera, not mine. For some reason, he was more into the picture-taking than I was.

Yes, our favorite band took the Orlando House of Blues stage and totally rocked! Lots of fun, considering not only was this my first time at House of Blues, but I had clearance for photos when they're normally not permitted, plus had practically free roam of the entire venue—on, off, front, and back stage! This album also has shots of the previous night's acoustic set at Slingapour's at the Wall Street Plaza in downtown Orlando, and a few happy birthday shots for Melvin during dinner after the House of Blues show.

Our celebration was nothing stupendous. Just friends—and the dog! The next day, we went to Disney's Fort Wilderness campground to bike and rollerblade.
